Notes and News
Hello class: we are now in Week 4 with only 2 weeks to go. We are doing a lot of work in a short time. If you haven't started on your Research Paper please be sure you have my then complete your assignment. Be sure you cite all your sources using the MLA style--check the library handouts --if you prefer to use the APA style because of your discipline, check out that handout from the same library website.
When you have submitted your Research Paper, create a presentation (PowerPoint or other) with a summary of your paper. Send it to me via the assignment box and post it in discussions. I will copy and post on this blog. Look in the archives for previous presentations.
Test 2 will open on July 18 and close on the 24th. There is a little overlap in time but please finish early to avoid disapointment. The tests are based on the tutorials and readings and may also pose a research question on which you can search the Internet for an answer.
I am in Seattle now but have been in the Olympic National Park in Washington State without Internet access for a couple of days. Do come and visit this beautiful natural park when you can. It is well worth a visit.
