In the Land of the Long White Cloud 

We landed in Aotearoa this morning early. My brother, Eric, was there to meet us and after hugs and kises we loaded up his car. Yeah, we brought a lot of luggage, mostly because we didn't have time to decide and re-decide what to bring. We packed on the last day and put everything in. Still don't have enough warm clothes for this variable weather--cool in the morning, warm in the afternoon, beautiful at all times. They call this country Godzone. It is! Eric and family live in the Mt. Albert area of Auckland, not very far from the airport. Two left turns and a right. This is a picture of Eric's backyard from the deck. and of Marg from the level below.


Tomorrow we head for the Coromandel Coast, north and west. More later...
