Assignment 3 History of the Book
Read through the chronological timetable of the history of the book. Choose an event. Do additional research on the web or in the physical library using books and encyclopedias. Write one (1) page (250 words) on the topic of your choice. In your own words--do not copy and paste from the Internet!
This is an easy assignment. There will be another question later on the history of the Internet. Do your own research once you have chosen a topic. Some topics chosen in the past have been clay tablets, papyrus scrolls, the Tibetan Book of the Dead, the Alexandrian Library, the effects of the invention of the printing press, etc. Whatever you chose, define, research, write a short essay and cite your works.
