TEST (1) One

is available as of Wednesday, October 10 at 7 AM. It cannot be clicked on before this date, however the timing is sometimes off by 3 hours because of WebCT. Check again at noon on Wednesday, if you cannot get in.

This is an "open book" test. Most of the questions come from your READINGS in the test book. READINGS LIB015 W.htm There are a combination of essay and multiple questions. Questions are randomized so that the order and sometimes the questions are different for each student. (The Readings were posted in Modules on Week One.)Pay attention to the vocabulary (Selected Terms Introduced in This Chapter) and the Review Questions at the end of each chapter. If you do not understand a question or chapter, do the Exercises and Projects to gain a deeper knowledge.

Remember to "Save Answer" for each question and click "Finish" at end to submit test.

The test can be printed out, and I recommend this. Print by clicking on Control-p (this seems to be the only way to print a test). It is 5 pages long but prints 6 pages with 17 questions. Study the test by reviewing the textbook chapters and the Internet. Then "take" the test in an hour or two. Don't leave the test open for an extended time.

The test will be technically open for one week, until the following Wednesday, November 18 at 7:00 AM BUT you should complete it by midnight on Tuesday, November 17. Once the test is closed it will not be reopened except for seriously extenuating circumstances!

The test is on chapters 1-7 and 9 . It will also include other relevant material that you have read on web tutorials or websites. The rest of the text book will be tested on in Test (2) two.

Hint: in the question subject history remember, you did an assignment on the history of the book, now study the History of the Internet
