Research Steps and Outline 

Some of you seem to be having trouble with these concepts. You already have your Research Topic, agreed to by me, either by email or in Assignment 8. Read A Short Guide to Library Research under Lectures in our WebCT course. Assignment 9 is Write down the steps you will be taking to do your research for your Research Paper. Include websites, books and magazine databases you will be using. Some of you are forgetting to go the Library website and find books and magazines. A Research Helper site shows some of the steps you will be taking. When writing your outline, look at the Perdu University OWL site The Writing Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (my alma mater) has a good website on Planning and Writing a Research Paper which includes information on writing the outline. Cornell University has a good tutorial of research tips.
Please get your Research Papers and your Presentation posted this week, especially as I will be posting all your presentations to this blog.
