WEEK 5
Assignment 5.
- Read the UC Berkeley Library tutorial on search engines and subject directories. Read my lecture by going to Course Contents--Lectures on Directories and Search Engines Look at some of the directories including the Yahoo! Directory and the Google Directory and the dedicated directories such as the Librarians Index to the Internet
- Write one page, in your own words, on the importance and usefulness of subject directories.
Don't get behind. Some of you are not submitting your assignments in the week that it is due. Please send in your assignments and catch up now. For those of you that are keeping up with the class, thank you!
